This is my senior capstone project, Anchors of My Past. Family stories are an important part of understanding who we are and where we came from. This project explores the connections between objects, family stories, and heritage. It focuses on some of my favorite objects and how they help me remember my family stories. The main focus of the project was a 40 page book of family objects and stories. I also illustrated 5 posters of objects that represented important family stories. The finished Illustrations were 24×36 inches. Lastly, the project included postcards and bookmarks.
